which two other people were also stabbed.
Chief Constable Gillian Parker said he had reported for duty 15 minutes before his death.

Tragedy
Condolences to all the family/friends.Once again an officer lays life on line in the course of his duty.Sleep well,you're in a better place Jon,a place where there's no hurt or pain.

Such a sad and pointless tradegy, are any of us safe to walk the strees anymore? My thoughts and prayers are with your wife and family - that poor baby who will never know her daddy, but will grow up knowing you were a hero. Goodnight sweetheart, rest in peace.
